Instructor, Regular Non-Tenure Track Department of Mathematics College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
Teach a variety of developmental and undergraduate mathematics courses, including dual credit enrollment, online courses, and courses on the main campus in Cape Girardeau (15 credit hours per semester)
Participate in professional development activities that support teaching effectiveness
Participate in service activities to support the department and the University
Serve on departmental, college, and university committees
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or a related field with a minimum of 18 hours of graduate level mathematics included in the master’s degree program. The master’s degree must be granted before August 1, 2020. (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government certified university.)
Demonstrated record of effective teaching of college and/or high school students
Demonstrated record of technology use in teaching
Demonstrated commitment to collegiality when interacting with others within the University community
Demonstrated commitment to working with multicultural populations and awareness of issues affecting women and minorities
