The Department of Natural Sciences & Mathematics at Curry College invites applications for a full-time professor in Forensic Science at the Assistant or Associate level (dependent upon experience) to begin late August 2020. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level and the ability to establish and maintain an active research agenda that involve undergraduates. Evidence of effective teaching to diverse learners and experience in promoting and fostering a supportive learning environment using a variety of methodologies are a plus.
Responsibilities include teaching introductory and advanced level forensic science courses: Forensic Science I & II, Forensic Photography and Forensic Criminal Investigation. The successful candidate will also play an important role in developing forensic science elective courses to enhance the Forensic Science curriculum or strengthen the General Education Program. Experience with program development including learning outcomes and assessment are a plus. Interested applicants should submit their materials by December 9, 2019.
A minimum a Master’s degree and extensive experience with program development required.
Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education.
Prior experience teaching Forensic Science.
Prior experience focusing on forensic science applications is required.
Terminal Degree preferred.
