Department Description The Department of Radiology is a 24 hour, seven day a week operation providing Imaging Services to adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. The department consists of Diagnostic Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Neuro-Interventional Radiology, Ultrasound, Computerized Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine, Positive Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR). The Department has four Interventional Suites, three CT scanners, four Ultrasound procedure rooms, five Nuclear Medicine cameras, one PET Imaging unit, three MR scanners and eight Diagnostic radiology rooms. THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY Responsibilities Provide advanced practice nurse practitioner care to patients who require diagnostic imaging, image guided specimen collection or interventional procedures and perform procedures as required defined by standardized procedures which may include paracentesis, thoracentesis, lumbar puncture or others as required. Patient management includes care across the radiology experience including pre-procedural care, and consultation, procedural care and post procedure follow up in the hospital and hospital based clinics. Required
At least one year NP experience
Graduation with a Master's degree, DNP or PhD in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing.
Possession of valid California RN and Nurse Practitioner license.
DEA Certification within 3 months of hire.
National NP Board Certification.
Current American Heart Association CPR and BLS.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Knowledge of current trends in nursing.
