THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY ResponsibilitiesThe Data Reporting & Analytics Developer (payroll title: Clinical Informatics Specialist 4) is responsible for meeting with the decision makers, systems owners, committees, workgroups and end users to define, develop and implement operational business reports within the Department. Responsible for enterprise-wide integrated applications deployment and maintenance. Supports complex data mining, operational reports for the electronic medical record and other clinical applications. Designs technical infrastructure and data mart logic related to the deliverables of various business processes and ensuring that key dependencies are met. Develops relational databases to meet business and processes needs. Works with application development staff to coordinate the creation and management of database structures. Shares Support On-Call responsibility, and responding to urgent patient care on-call pages (rotate on call 24/7 approximately one week per month includes being on call Saturday and Sunday). Required Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of database modeling and development experience using Visualization tools (Tableau, Qlickview, etc.), Crystal Enterprise Reporting, Business Objects Enterprise, or similar
Expert in SQL query techniques, Oracle, and other relational, factual, dimensional databases. Knowledge of stored procedure use and design.
Extensive experience designing, creating, testing, and implementing complex reports using Crystal Reports and Business Objects Enterprise reporting tools
Advanced report writing skills and knowledge of multiple tools to aid in more complex report development, such as SQL and MS knowledge and experience in an area of clinical healthcare operations.
Reporting-related Epic Systems certification or Epic Systems technical experience
Experienced in relational data modeling principles and techniques
Knowledge of and experience with Epic's Clarity data model
Experience creating, testing, and implementing Epic ReportingWorkbench reports
Experience with OLAP and OLTP technologies
Knowledge of Epic Clarity Console, Compass, troubleshooting, and upgrades.
Demonstrated experience in translating user requirements into report specifications.
Knowledge of data warehouses, data stores, and/or data marts
Strong prioritization and time-management skills
Ability to respond to urgent patient care on-call pages on a regular rotating basis
