Northwestern University is seeking a temporary full-time Financial Administrator for the Chicago campus.
Temporary Job Description:
The temporary Financial Administrator position supports a university accounting-related area/program and provides routine financial and clerical support, which may include word processing, data entry, expense reimbursement, bank deposits, petty cash, ordering supplies, answering phones, greeting visitors, providing information, and/or scheduling meetings. Additionally, the temporary Financial Administrator is responsible for cost accounting, drafting financial statements, and forecasting.
Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree in a major such as accounting, business administration, finance, or related; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
Two years financial, budgeting &/or preparing account reconciliations or financial statements along with financial analysis or other relevant experience;
Experience entering payroll;
Strong communication skills;
High level of organizational skills and attention to detail;
Diligent and can work independently;
MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
