The Von Allmen School of Accountancy at the University of Kentucky is pleased to invite applications for a tenure-track position (open rank) with an anticipated start date of Fall 2020. The successful candidate may be ABD with expected completion of PhD by Fall 2020 or a PhD in accounting or related field, have an active research program demonstrating capacity for high level research, and have an excellent record of classroom instruction. Applicants should have an expectation to publish research in TAR, JAR, CAR, AOS, RAST, JAE, or comparable outlets.
The Von Allmen School offers an outstanding research environment with a core of highly productive research-oriented faculty. The School will consider new PhDs and experienced candidates with interests in all areas of teaching and research, but will give preference to those with research interests in financial accounting or auditing. Experienced candidates should demonstrate an excellent record of publishing in top academic journals with a research agenda that will lead to continued production of high-quality research.
