A non-tenure track faculty position is available to direct and serve as the Associate Director/Assistant Professor of Instruction in Nursing on the Ohio University Chillicothe campus.
Responsibilities include supervision of faculty, teaching in the Bachelor’s of Nursing program, service to the campus and School of Nursing, and performing scholarship in the Nursing discipline.
This non-tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor of instruction rank in the Nursing Division at Ohio University Chillicothe will also serve as the Associate Director/Division Coordinator in the Ohio University School of Nursing. Responsibilities include supervision of nursing division faculty, teaching in the Bachelor’s of Nursing program, service to the campus and School of Nursing, budget management, ensuring program compliance with accrediting/approving bodies, and performing scholarship in the nursing discipline.
The Associate Director/Division Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating and communicating nursing course offerings and coordinating the scheduling of nursing courses in collaboration with the campus Dean.
MSN degree required at the time of application.
Current licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse (RN).
The individual should have a minimum of three (3) years of teaching or clinical experience, and evidence of scholarship.
Doctoral degree preferred.
