The Facilities Planning & Management Department at Iowa State University is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Program Coordinator II. Under the leadership of the Assistant Director, this position will be responsible for the identification, negotiation, resolution, and implementation of space planning efforts to meet the Universityâs mission and strategic plans. These efforts are integrated with the Campus Master Plan, the plans of Administration, members of the University community, and the Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) organization. Further, this position will be involved in pre-planning efforts which include developing building feasibility studies and building programs; defining goals; assessing programmatic space needs; coordinating with client groups; evaluating alternative solutions; and defining project scope, budgets, and schedules to facilitate decision-making. This position also interacts with FP&M staff who oversee the university space inventory and associated data to ensure space reallocations are properly documented. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, good listening skills, along with the ability to articulate the needs of the university to project team members.
