Provide prospective students and families with general information regarding admissions requirements and academic programs through assigned territory management
Build and maintain professional relationships with high school and community college personnel
Maintain current knowledge of university programs, student activities, support services, and scholarship opportunities.
Maintain a working knowledge of financial aid and other forms of financial assistance available to qualified students.
Represent the University at recruiting activities at high schools, college fairs, community colleges and special events both on and office campus as well as in the community.
Assist in the development and implementation of admissions marketing techniques and materials for the purpose of continued positive high school and community college relations.
Coordinate special admissions programs for prospective students.
Provide presentations for on campus daily tours and group tours as assigned.
Utilize SLATE CRM to manage communication with prospective students.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
A bachelor's degree is required for this position from an accredited college or university.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Routinely lift more than 25 pounds.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong counseling and group presentation skills
Ability to participate in a fast-paced, creative, change-oriented and success-driven environment.
Position does require evening and weekend work, travel and use of personal vehicle
One or more years of experience is preferred in student recruitment, marketing, public relations or other highly interactive promotional fields.
Experience with a CRM
Bilingual or ability to speak multiple languages
$15.29 per hour
