MOLECULAR BIOLOGIST AT MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE. The Department of Biology invites applications for a one semester appointment at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology for Fall term 2020. The candidate's area of expertise should focus on cellular and molecular biology. Applicants must have a Ph.D. as well as demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate is expected to teach an upper-level course in molecular biology with one lab section and an upper-level course in genomics with one lab section. The department is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the growing diversity and excellence of the academic community through their teaching, scholarship, and service. Demonstration of evidence-based inclusive pedagogy, mentoring, and advising a diverse population of students is essential.
