The primary responsibilities consist of teaching introductory and intermediate courses, developing and delivering upper-division courses to strengthen the existing Czech minor, and organizing extra-curricular activities.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
PhD in Czech or related field
Fluency/near-native fluency in Czech and fluency in English
The ability to teach courses currently offered, including: Beginning Czech I and II; Second-Year Czech I and II; Czech Culture and Society via Film; and Czech Cultural Studies.
Prior experience teaching Czech at the university level is preferred.
