Work collaboratively with colleges, divisions and departments to forecast revenues and expenditures.
Provide analysis to assist with decisions on financial aid strategy, net tuition strategy, academic programs, and spend optimization.
Provide necessary data to help advance the University's strategic framework.
Operate in an advisory manner providing relevant & timely analytics.
Provide additional resources for the scope of relevant work that needs to be completed.
Primary Responsibilities :
Work with accounting and financial aid to develop analyses that can assist with decisions on financial aid strategy and net tuition strategy.
Review department budget/actual trends and develop metrics to identify opportunities for spend optimization.
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
Work with strategic planning implementation teams to provide needed data to help advance the University's strategic framework.
Develop analyses related to academic programs and compare to benchmark/best practice data to assist in recommendations.
Bachelor's degree with sufficient, directly relevant work experience; business finance or accounting experience preferred. MBA preferred.
Excellent decision-making skills; decisive.
Strong analytical skills.
High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
Excellent computer skills; advanced Excel skills; skills related to complex ERP systems, preferably SAP; high aptitude for learning new systems.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proactive with ability to anticipate and manage next steps and issues.
Ability to build effective work relationships; partner as an advisor.
