The Department of Materials Science and NanoEngineering is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of knowledge in materials and producing the materials scientists and engineers of the future. The senior department administrator serves as the primary business manager of the fiscal and administrative functions in the Department of Materials Science and NanoEngineering. This position impacts departmental operations and is responsible for departmental compliance with all University policies. S/he will represent the department by attending meetings and collaborating with the senior research administrator, the Dean's office and other University administrators. Additionally, this position manages the day-to-day business administration of a department and establishes and ensure compliance with administrative processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and organizational skills who is able to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.
