The University of California, San Francisco, Division of Cardiology, is seeking to hire an exceptional candidate to serve as Associate Chief for Ambulatory Operations of a rapidly growing multi-site cardiology practice. Candidates should be board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and have the expertise to direct and work closely with administrative leadership to oversee the operations of the multi-faceted ambulatory Cardiology practice. The successful candidate will work closely with the Cardiology Division Chief, other Division, Departmental and Health system leaders in developing and executing strategies for continued growth of the ambulatory Cardiology practice. The candidate will be an outstanding clinician who is a nationally recognized or upcoming clinical and academic leader in cardiology. Applicants must hold MD (or equivalent degree), MD/PhD (or equivalent degree), or MD/MPH (or equivalent degree) degree(s) and be qualified for appointment at the Associate or the Professor level.
The successful candidate will be expected to continue the Cardiology ambulatory program’s growth in the outpatient arena, accelerate its multi-site rollout, and ensure that we provide world-class service to our patients in the Bay Area and beyond. Faculty recruit will perform duties as an attending physician on the inpatient and consult service, provide general Cardiology patient care and have a significant clinical presence in the ambulatory practice.
