Position Description: The Compliance Investigator will be responsible for conducting thorough, professional, and timely investigations of allegations of suspected violations of law or University policy and of claims of whistleblower retaliation made by UCLA staff or faculty employees, as assigned by the Director. These responsibilities will involve identifying compliance issues and conducting thorough, professional, time-critical, and often sensitive fact-finding, record-keeping, and report-writing efforts in accordance with University policy and best practice investigative standards. In carrying out these duties and responsibilities, the Compliance Investigator will be required to interview a wide variety of staff and faculty employees and collaborate with other campus units including Human Resource personnel, Title IX officers, University legal counsel, Campus and Health Science Compliance Officers, Internal Auditors, and University Police.
