University Marketing partners with colleges and units across the university and with members of the greater Ohio State community to continuously develop and enhance the Ohio State brand while advancing the university's strategic goals.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President Marketing Enablement, the Digital Asset Management Administrator is responsible for the implementation, rollout and development of ongoing governance to support The Ohio State University's institution-wide digital asset management (DAM) system in support of Marketing and Communications efforts across numerous print and digital channels. This role works closely with marketing and creative staff across the university to establish institution-wide standards to effectively and efficiently manage the organization, storage and retrieval of rich assets (including photos, videos, brand logos and wordmarks, print collateral, etc.) and subsequent digital rights and permissions for use. The DAM Administrator will lead the migration of existing content into the university's digital asset management system, MerlinOne, and support user adoption of the system. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, is solution-oriented, organized, and a strong cross-collaborator. He/she will be marketing and technology proficient and possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Bachelor's degree or higher (in area such as Library Science, Archive Management) or equivalent education and/or experience; At least three years of experience managing an enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution in a high-volume environment; Proficiency with digital asset file formats and manipulating and accessing file metadata within creative software suites like Adobe Creative Cloud and/or PhotoMechanic; Strong working knowledge of metadata taxonomy standards and approaches, database principles, and copyright and rights management
Specific expertise with MerlinOne; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel; Familiarity with both Mac and PC environments; Familiarity with cloud-based SaaS systems and best practices; Demonstrated comfort level interacting with IT partners
Target Salary: $64,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annually
