The Dining Utility Worker maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in a food service operation serving students, staff, and guests of the university; operates and sets up dish washing equipment: cleans dish return systems and area; disposes of all trash and food waste; stocks and/or supplies dispenser equipment and food items; cleans and sets up beverage, soft serve and other service equipment; cleans kitchen equipment; ensures the refrigerators are clean and in accordance with prescribed standards; cleans and maintains kitchen and serving equipment; washes windows and light fixtures; maintains floor cleanliness by sweeping and mopping. Work hours to include 2:30 p.m.-11:00 p.m. Mon-Thurs., 12:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Fri-Sun, rotating weekends.

8th grade education; ability to count and read warning signs/labels; ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
Kitchen custodial work experience; high school diploma; Serve-Safe or equivalent sanitation training /certification.
