FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing is actively seeking an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor to perform the following duties:
Classroom teaching of undergraduate and graduate students, with exact mix of responsibilities dependent upon level of appointment, area of clinical expertise, and scope of ongoing research activities. Conducts an ongoing program of research which results in publications and presentations. Provides service to the School and College through committee work, curricula design and review, and representation at professional organizations. Reviews for professional journals. Maintains licensure and certification as appropriate. Maintains currency in profession through continuing education.

Ph.D. degree in nursing or related field. Also required are the ability to teach successfully, maintain an ongoing research program, and the ability to collaborate with others for the good of the institution.
Certification as an advanced practice nurse; either Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner (NP). Expertise in one of the following specialty areas preferred: Pediatric NP, Family NP, Psychiatric Mental Health NP. Academic teaching experience strongly preferred, and program of research required at associate and full professor levels.
Educational requirement: MS in nursing and PhD in nursing or related field. New York State license as a registered nurse required, and New York State Nurse Practitioner Licensure if applicable.
Commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments.
