The Industrial and Systems Engineering invites applications for a full-time Post-Doctoral Research Associate position. Candidates should have primary interest and expertise in quantum computing and graph theory. Must have the ability to present research plans and findings in a convincing style, both in oral and written modes of communication, effectively to the project team, funding agency, and/or to outside researchers and collaborators. Other duties to be performed at various levels within the defined title. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or Mathematics and possess a demonstrated potential and strong commitment to quality research.
The position is available to start by January 1, 2020. The post-doctoral researcher will report to Dr. James Ostrowski. This is a twelve-month appointment, renewable annually for up to four years based on performance and funds availability. The compensation package includes a competitive salary, health benefits, career mentoring and any required travel.
