1. Evaluates, selects, implements systems and resources such as the online registration system. Serve as expert team lead to establish related policies and procedures; develop related materials; create and provide training; assess access needs; and conduct quality assurance evaluations. The AA will design and prepare complex statistical reports, e.g., financial and space management needs; conduct and control data analysis and make operational recommendations based on relevant data (i.e., customer service and ISP metrics). Serves as the lead system administrator for the University for the StarRez database application. Manage website and other department technologies, including being the implementation manager of Salesforce. 2. Responsible for maximizing occupancy and housing revenue and setting program logistics and direction. This includes recruitment, training, development, supervision of summer staff as well as leading Yale Facilities and other ISPs planning and discussions. Create and set the standard for instructional technology training. Oversee summer program management for housing reservations. Direct annual summer scheduling of client classroom and dining assignments. 3. The AA will design and evaluate procedures to help ensure the highest level of efficiency for strong working relationships with campus colleagues and external vendors. The AA will work with external clients for the creation of and problem-solving for databases, tables, etc., used for upload to Yale systems. He/she ensures that the department follows relevant federal, state, and university guidelines; determines and performs various coding and testing of systems; and provides written reports of actual and proposed production measures to YC&E management. 4. Implement and execute new business strategic initiatives, projects and executive reports. Independently spearhead ongoing analysis. Identify and implement operational solutions that support efficiencies, workflow processes and procedures. Manage miscellaneous university projects on behalf of YC&E. 5. May perform other duties as assigned.
