This Sr. Employee Experience Advisor will be responsible for:
Developing resolutions to employee relations/labor issues by providing advice, research, direction and guidance to management and employees.
Collaborating with Office of General Counsel in preparing for the Hospital's defense in regards to discrimination complaints or lawsuits brought by employees.
Investigating allegations of employee misconduct, conducting internal investigations and preparing investigative reports.
Coordinating and preparing presentation of cases for arbitration and administrative hearings such as unemployment.
Assisting supervisors and employees in the interpretation and application of the Hospital's personnel policies.
Ensuring personnel policies are equitable and effective. Reviewing current policies and procedures and recommends changes, as necessary.
Training supervisors and managers to effectively handle employee relations' issues.
Providing direction and supporting Leave Administration issues as needed.
Maintaining collaborative team relationships with peers and colleagues in order to effectively contribute to the working groups' achievement goals.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Counseling or a closely related field and eight to ten years' experience.
The analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth, experienced-based cross-functional knowledge.
Communication skills in order persuade and negotiate with others on important matters.
