The College of Business is seeking applications from qualified candidates for part-time, non-tenure-track adjunct faculty positions for Spring 2019. The successful candidate(s) will teach undergraduate courses in the field of Fire and Emergency Services Administration. The candidates must have 18 graduate hours in Fire & Emergency Services Administration, Homeland Security/Emergency Management or related field and prior university teaching experience. Quality performance will be expected in teaching. Preference will be given to applicants who have relevant industry experience and have appropriate licensures, credential and/or certification.
Graduate degree in Fire & Emergency Services Administration or Homeland Security field from a regionally accredited university.Â
Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in related field. Â
Prior relevant industry experience related to Homeland Security/Emergency Management
College/University teaching experience. Â
National Fire Academy (NFA) Executive Fire Officer Cert.
Hold the following Texas Commission on Fire Protection (TCFP): Basic Firefighter Structure, Instructor II
Familiarity with non-traditional commuter University setting.Â
Experience working with culturally diverse populations
