Reporting to the Associate Dean for Clinical Administration and Revenue Cycle Management, the Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management directs and provides operations leadership and overall planning and execution of revenue cycle operations and goals (dental insurance strategy, accounts receivable and revenue posting and accounts reconciliation). Defines strategic objectives and develops best practice methodology for system and process optimization, works closely with internal stakeholders and business partners to evaluate and analyze existing systems and processes, and then implements improvements that support revenue cycle goals. Prepare reporting and commentary as needed for various stakeholders. Cultivate and build effective relationships across the College, payers and vendors. Monitor regulatory changes in the healthcare industry and manage the process to analyze the impact to providers. Develop and supervise administrative/professional staff.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, accounting, finance or related degree.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience in healthcare.
Preferred Experience: 7+ years experience specifically in clinical management, including experience with related software and systems.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Exhibit positive customer service behavior, communicate accurately and appropriately and a strong understanding of related regulations.
