This is a tenure-track position requiring teaching, scholarship, and some administrative duties. The candidate should hold the rank of Associate Professor of Mathematics, or be eligible for the rank; they should be able to lead the Program in Mathematics in the Department of Science and Mathematics, including mentoring junior faculty members. While the specialization is open, we seek exceptionally well-qualified individuals with research interests in PDEs, Fluid Mechanics, Harmonic and Microlocal Analysis, or Dynamical Systems. Publications in leading journals is required. Excellence in teaching at all levels of the curriculum and engaging students in research is expected.

Ph.D. in Mathematics, or a closely related field of study.
Coordination of the program in mathematics (including, but not limited to scheduling of courses hiring adjunct instructors, and chairing meetings for the program)
Teach two to three 3-hour courses per semester.
Teach mathematics courses at the undergraduate level.
Conduct mathematical or mathematically-related scientific research.
Publication in peer-reviewed research journals in the candidate's field of interest.
Grant proposal writing.
Service and committee work at the program, department, college, university, community, and profession levels.
