Responsible for assisting with the development and then implementation of a comprehensive recruitment plan and coordinating recruitment efforts and initiatives for recruiting new graduate students. The incumbent will initiate and develop faculty collaboration in the recruitment of graduate students and have a key role in assisting the College of Graduate Studies and Research in achieving its goals of significantly increasing the number of enrolled graduate students. The incumbent will be responsible for building infrastructure to provide services to programs to facilitate recruitment of prospective graduate students and graduate applicants.
Combination of at least 2 years in a graduate school environment and experience marketing and recruiting for academic programs or within an academic setting.
Demonstrated ability to work with applicants and/or students from diverse cultural backgrounds and from other countries.
Demonstrated ability to use CRM features.
Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
Familiarity with graduate programs and graduate/University policies and procedures.
Knowledge of the University's student record system (ISRS) or other comprehensive student record system.
Knowledge of marketing and communications within higher education.
