The MSW Program Director oversees all aspects of the MSW Program and works closely with the Dean, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, and faculty to ensure the College of Social Work offers a high quality MSW program that prepares future social workers for their professional careers. The MSW Program Director manages the MSW Program Office and provides oversight for student advising and oversees progression through the program and graduation. The MSW Program Director is responsible for continuing to increase the diversity of our MSW student population, maintaining MSW enrollments at established enrollment targets, overseeing MSW distance learning efforts, fostering a culture that is conducive to student achievement, and seeking innovations for MSW programming.

Master's degree in social work; a minimum of five years of experience in social work education; excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are crucial; demonstrated supervisory experience highly valued along with ability to interact professionally and productively with a wide variety of students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
Ph.D. in social work.
