Provide first response to inquiries directed to the Administrative office; resolve problems or refer callers to appropriate source for assistance.
Interact with other departments on campus to address library concerns, i.e. Facilities, Custodial service, Campus Police, etc.
Prepare vouchers, requisitions, and internal order forms necessary for library purchases. Respond to vendor inquiries, and resolve payment issues.
Verify expenses, monthly, on the checklist in Financial Production and prepare payroll reconciliation monthly.
Order and keep an inventory of supplies for the libraries.
Review and submit one card charges.
Process appointments for new hires to the libraries, and initiate personnel changes using ePAF system.
Maintain personnel and administrative files for the libraries, including keeping a record of vacation/sick time for librarians.
Compile statistical information regarding payroll and student hours.
Verify bi-weekly and monthly payroll.
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle routine office duties with a minimum of supervision
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, specifically word and excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
