DUTIES: - Perform all nursing duties during clinic hours. - Assist medical and nursing staff, perform physical assessments, obtain demographic data and complete health histories. - Assist medical staff with vital signs, measurements, and specimen collection. - Assist with coordination of patient visits, follow-up on missed visits. - Track labs for doctors and communicate changes of abnormal values. - Provide information to patients and families relating to health status, health care and health maintenance. - Participate in case management, CQI, general staff, and supervisory meeting. - Complete medical forms for WIC, school, foster care and camp. - Perform other duties as assigned. (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION) QUALIFICATIONS: REQUIRED: New York State license RN. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS and related issues. Experience working with adolescents, women and children. PREFERRED: Excellent writing skills. Ability to multi-task.
