The Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement is a direct report to the Director, Regional and Volunteer Engagement but will be expected to work independently and collaboratively for a fast-paced, alumni relations organization, and assume responsibility of existing alumni club & councils.
This individual will recommend new and innovative ideas to enhance club and council programming and will assist with the execution of club and council strategies. The incumbent will manage workflow for communications, events, data management and reporting, and all other duties as assigned. This individual will respond to alumni requests, inquiries, and needs in support of alumni clubs and councils.
In addition, this person will assist with alumni volunteer recruitment and training; database management and retrieval of data lists, mailings, and maintenance of alumni lists; and event coordination and communication. This individual must have the ability to travel 8-10 times a year. The incumbent maintains contact with several areas across the University.
Three years of relevant higher education customer service, volunteer management, and event planning experiences preferred. The job requires exceptional communication, organization, and database management skills that are essential to this position and team. Must have exemplary written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Particularly desirable is knowledge of the University system. Must work effectively in a team environment and be able to present information in a comprehensive, cohesive format. A bachelor's degree or comparable experience. Proficiency in the applications/functions within the MS Office environment.

Hiring Range: $26,988.00 - $43,212.00
