THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY ResponsibilitiesThis position serves as the Program Coordinator for the WorkLife unit at UC Davis Health (UCDH). As part of the HR Talent Management Center of Expertise, WorkLife provides programs, policies, referrals and education that facilitate work-life integration and enable employees and students to be effective personally and professionally at work, school and home. WorkLife encompasses the multifunctional areas of dependent care and family services, health and well-being, career flexibility and community involvement. Under general direction, the Program Coordinator provides daily operational and analytical support in developing and delivering multifaceted programs, events and services in these areas. Position includes program coordination and administration, resource and referral, and communication and outreach; and requires interaction and collaboration with other campus departments, unions, system-wide and community groups, public agencies and private enterprises. Position works with a high degree of autonomy (including doing all own administrative tasks) as it is a solo position at Health and the Manager is based at the Davis campus. Required Qualifications
Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills to disseminate information, provide assistance, interact effectively, and work collaboratively in a diverse environment through a variety of forums and media.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision, work with interruptions, and maintain accuracy and professionalism while adhering to deadlines and adjusting to shifting priorities.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to think critically, generate, evaluate, and recommend solutions.
Demonstrated ability to track processes through multi-faceted systems while maintaining progress.
Experience writing, editing and proofreading.
Experience collecting, evaluating and compiling data and materials into logical, clear, accurate and concise formats.
Experience in delivering presentations and facilitating meetings.
Experience with Microsoft Office productivity suite [Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher and PowerPoint] and BOX.
Demonstrated skills to read, understand, interpret and apply University policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations and laws.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with sensitive issues.

Bachelor's Degree Human Development, Social Sciences, Human Resources, Communications or related field of study and/or equivalent education and experience/training.
Knowledge and/or experience in one or more functional areas of worklife.
Experience with UCDH administrative systems and processes.
This position may be subject to a criminal background investigation, drug screen, Live Scan fingerprinting, medical evaluation clearance, and functional capacity assessment.
