This The Institutional Animal Care & Use Committee Administrative Professional II position provides administrative support to the Attending Veterinarian (AV), Associate AV, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) Chair, and members of the IACUC on the implementation of the university-wide Program of Animal Care and Use; schedules and coordinates logistics for meetings, semiannual inspections and training (including AALAS Learning Library); timely preparation and distribution of agendas, minutes, inspection records, decisions and related materials and updates/maintains the OAV webpage. This position will Sserves as back-up to senior PAs IACUC Administrative Professionals and the Administrative Assistant. When needed, conducts initial administrative review of protocol submissions (eSirius3G) and follows up to ensure completeness; serves as IACUC liaison in responding to inquiries and providing information and guidance; manages and maintains official and electronic records and files; coordinates protocol reviewer assignments and workflow. Processes administrative paperwork; may perform other administrative functions and related duties as required by the AV, Associate AV, IACUC Chair and Senior PAs.
