Responsible for development of SharePoint solutions to support university business and academic processes
Collaborate with business unit liaisons to understand and develop business and functional requirements
Performs and coordinates SharePoint Services platform activities including site creation and maintenance, and installation and configuration of standard and custom solutions/features.
Develop software and design standards, processes and procedures, and guidelines to ensure they meet business rules and government regulations
Provide Technical support to resolve issues when they are reported
Provides user training to university SharePoint users to enable them to work efficiently in the platform.
Provide user and design documentation for O365 solutions.
Determines access control for O365/SharePoint data and document storage and implements as per best practices.
Evaluates third party software packages and serves as liaison with Microsoft and other software and support vendors.
Coordinates design review activities with other team members to ensure applications adhere to the standards and structure developed
Contributes to the team development through presentations, demonstrations, and mentoring of other team members to solidify systems utility and performance.
Maintains a positive, helpful, constructive attitude and work relationship with supervisor, university staff, students, and the community and other duties as assigned.
The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
Special Skills Or Experience:
Experience using SharePoint Online and developing workflows and forms in the Power Platform, Flow, PowerApps and Power BI. Must know SharePoint Designer and InfoPath for maintenance of existing solutions. Familiarity with using APIs and making REST calls.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills are required. Also, the ability to analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies and propose better solutions and work in a team environment. A self-directed person committed to a strong work ethic.

Length Of Experience:
Two or more years programming experience in an integrated database environment including SharePoint is required. Preferred qualifications:
Programming experience in the following: SharePoint, Flow, PowerApps, Microsoft programming tools, ASP, .NET, C#, SQL Server Enterprise Manager
Two or more years maintaining administrative software in a college setting is preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Write programming code necessary to establish and maintain an efficient, reliable, effective university web presence on the main web servers.
Provide input in the planning, creation and maintenance of interactive and non-interactive dynamic web pages.
Design, build and maintain databases essential to the efficient functioning of the university’s web presence.
Design and develop reports to effectively use the information collected in the web applications to improve business efficiencies.
Support the campus end user with issues arising from work developing the university web pages.
Provide basic instruction to end users on the use and development of web technology.
Provide consultation on development of the web environment for the university.
Work with System Administration team to ensure optimum and secure server performance; to author and manage scripting to support interactive web applications; and to plan for future growth and development of the internet and intranet systems.
