Gildart Haase School of Computer Sciences and Engineering (GHSCSE) seeks Adjunct Instructor to teach an undergraduate course in Technical Communications. The course is required for all students majoring in engineering, engineering technology, information technology and computer science. Course description: Technical Communications Overview of the writing, editing, research, and design principles of technical and professional communication. Students will learn how to gather, organize, and present information effectively. Course includes business and technical documentation, including on-line tools; oral reports and public speaking; teamwork and participation in group meetings; use of visuals to communicate material; professional, ethical, and social responsibilities; and research techniques using the library and the Internet.
Requirements – Master's degree in Engineering, Science, English, Business or a related field plus some technical writing experience.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
