Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Part-Time Research Coordinator for the School of Health Professions within the Department of Clinical and Preventive Nutrition Services. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Research Coordinator will oversee protocols for research studies, clinical trials, and manage all study and research activities.
Assists the PI with all facets of grant admissions including creating budgets, developing protocols, and assembling supporting documents.
Develops study participant consent forms and applications to the Institutional Review Board (IRB). Responsible for reporting protocol changes to the IRB.
Screens participants for eligibility. Enrolls and consents subjects for study.
Collects, maintains, stores, and protects all data as per study protocols and IRB requirements.
Responsible for ordering supplies, inventory and record keeping during the course of the studies. Orders lab supplies, as needed.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree plus three (3) years of experience in similar activities in scientific research, or a Master’s Degree plus two (2) years of experience, as indicated.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge in scientific research.
This is a grant funded position.
Salary: Up to $36,400.00/yr. (Part-Time)
