Under the general supervision and in collaboration with the Director of Program Development, the Instructional Support Analyst and Course Scheduler is responsible for developing and managing the annual teaching plan and course schedule for all academic programs in the Program in Public Health. Responsibilities include coordination and oversight over curriculum planning, course scheduling and classroom resources, course material procurement and distribution, course evaluation and reporting process, as well as onboarding of new faculty and instructors on campus and unit policies and procedures as they apply to curriculum planning. In consultation with department management, uses professional concepts in drafting department schedule for courses, seminars, and special events, taking into consideration faculty leaves, preferences, and faculty course load, classroom availability, and enrollment figures. Schedule may be reviewed to ensure it meets the needs of students for degree progression. Independently obtains classrooms for courses taking into account the requirements and restrictions of the Campus Scheduling Office.
