Based in the Hariri Institute, the Software & Application Innovation Lab (SAIL) is a collaborative partner for Boston University faculty and researchers that engages in a variety of activities to encourage, enable, support, and execute research efforts involving technical, data-driven, computational, and software engineering aspects or components. Working directly with the Associate Director of Engineering, in support of SAIL and the team of full-time software engineers and student interns, the Technical Program Manager will be responsible for strategic development, technical consulting, operational management, software engineering relations, performance tracking and analysis, and recruitment responsibilities. The individual in this position will leverage existing knowledge, first-hand experience, or past coursework in the areas of software engineering and/or computer science. They should also make contributions informed by their experience working with technical staff and with non-technical clients, customers, or partners in flexible, dynamic, and highly demanding start-up or industry environments.
Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience required.
