We are seeking a hands-on in vivo rodent scientist to complement our team and to be part of our exciting translational science program. As a member of the Tabar Laboratory, the candidate will be responsible for performing stereotactic procedures on mice brains and behavioral assays for experimental models. The selected individual will also perform perfusion, brain sectioning and immunohistochemistry.
You have: :
B. S, M.S. or equivalent in Neurobiology, Psychology, Biology or a related discipline.
Experience in rodent surgery, post-surgery monitoring of animals and perfusion experience is preferred.
Experience in behavioral testing in rodents
Primary responsibility will be performing rodent surgery including stereotactic cell transplantation as well as behavioral testing and histopathological follow up
Collect, summarize and analyze experimental data
Maintain excellent record keeping
