PT Evening Custodian (Maintainer), Facilities Department
Danvers Campus, up to 20 hrs/week, (Monday - Friday), 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Cleans college property such as offices, classrooms, corridors, walls, floors, windows, furniture, glass, woodwork, lavatories or fixtures by washing, sweeping, dusting, or vacuum cleaning. The PT Maintainer will assist with the placement of furniture for functions and perform other janitorial services as requested to maintain a clean environment as assigned by superiors. Other duties include cleaning and stocking of restrooms, shoveling snow, removing ice buildups and applying treatments to icy surfaces.
SALARY: $15.04 per hour (includes shift differential), up to 20 hrs/week, 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm, Non-benefited position.

Physical stamina and endurance.
Knowledge of materials, equipment and methods commonly used in housekeeping, cleaning operations.
Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships and deal tactfully with general public.
Ability to climb and work on ladders and scaffolds.
Manual dexterity, Mechanical aptitude and ability to shovel snow, sands roadways or walkways of College property.
Ability to be exposed to the hazards of wet and slippery floors.
Ability to be exposed to hazards of chemicals, dust, excessive heat. Empties and cleans waste barrels and other waste receptacles.
Candidates will be required to have a Massachusetts class "D" or greater motor vehicle operator's license or out-of-state equivalent.
Must be able to pass a pre-placement physical schedule by the College after an offer of employment.
Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.
Additional Salary Information: $15.04 per hour (includes shift differential), up to 20 hrs/week, 7PM-11PM, Non-benefited position.
