Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Director for Enterprise Application’s, main objective is to drive student success by the daily support and ongoing evolution and optimization of Ellucian Colleague SaaS ERP system and other enterprise systems (technical and functional) at the college. The ideal candidate must be able to manage staff and deal effectively with staff leadership and support, including meeting regularly to discuss progress of work, resolve problems, and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met. The Director for Enterprise Applications’ seeks to improve the quality and efficiency of business, policies, procedures, and processes that focus on people and ensure ease of enterprise systems use by students and staff. The Director for Enterprise Applications collaborates with administrators and vendors to ensure that ERP to make sure that changes are systems are implemented effectively, on-time, and within budget. The Director for Enterprise Applications educates the college community by providing well-documented processes and end user tools and reports for the ERP systems. The Director for Enterprise Applications may develop Request for Proposals (RFPs), assess vendors, assess hardware and technology solutions, and needs to provide outstanding service to internal and external customers. The Director for Enterprise Applications directly supervises a team comprised of full-time, part-time employees and work-study students. The Director for Enterprise Applications must be able to consult and lead within a highly matrixed organization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Science from a college or university; and 5 – 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Ellucian Colleague SaaS ERP experience including Core, Self-Service, WebAdvisor, e-Advising, Finance, AP, Budget, Purchasing, Fixed Assets, WebAdvisor, Financial Aid, HR, Payroll, Web Time Entry, Dashboards, and typical Reporting tools (Informer and ODS). • Experience and expertise with MS SQL Server, Active Directory and Office 365, and Windows Server. • Knowledge of network infrastructure, Cisco hardware, cloud computing, and VMware. • Experience working with support groups, various college departments, and committees. • Experience managing IT departments/division within a higher education setting. • Demonstrated ability to transfer of knowledge to team members & other IT organizations. • Experience developing and monitoring budgets. • Purchase experience and the ability to develop and evaluate.
