Job responsibilities include undergraduate and/or MBA teaching, service to the University and academic community, and collaborative engagement with colleagues. Further responsibilities for this position include on-going publication in leading and high quality academic journals. Faculty research is actively encouraged and supported (e.g., summer research grants, travel support).

Minimum Qualifications:* 

  • A completed Ph.D. in Marketing (or a Ph.D. in Business with a primary emphasis in Marketing) from a program accredited by either AACSB or EQUIS, at the time of application. 
  • Evidence of an on-going research program as demonstrated by scholarship having been placed under review at leading and high quality journals. 
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching as instructor of record at the undergraduate and/or graduate level in the marketing discipline. 
  • Effective written communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:* While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: 

  • Ability to engage with others in a collegial and collaborative manner. 
  • A strong record of publication in leading (and high quality) academic journals 
  • Existing research and teaching interests that include either Sales and/or Digital Marketing 
  • Successful professional experience in B2B sales and/or digital marketing 
  • Successful completion of online digital marketing certificates 
  • Successful experience with sales team competitions 
  • A willingness to work with students as part of co-curricular activities 
  • Versatility in teaching and mentoring, including students from diverse backgrounds 
  • Experience with on-line teaching environments 
  • Ability to engage with others in a collegial and collaborative manner 
  • Effective verbal communication skills 
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills 
  • An appreciation of the University’s Marianist values of theory-to-practice, practical wisdom, & community
