Reporting to the Director of the Henry P. Becton School of Nursing & Allied Health, the Coordinator of Online Programs is principally responsible for all of the administrative components specific to overseeing all online programs being offering through the School of Nursing & Allied Health. This includes but is not limited to: in-state and out-of-state clinical placements of students registered in on-line programs; all contractual agreements involving clinical placements of students registered in online programs; working with state departments to facilitate placement; acting as the liaison between The School of Nursing and a learning management company, such as The Learning House; coordinating with FDU's administration to manage all course offerings effectively; and working closely with faculty and administration in The School of Nursing to ensure effective delivery of courses. A registered professional nurse familiar with the laws and regulations governing the profession is preferred, but a professional with knowledge of contracts and clinical placements may qualify for this position.
1.Master's degree in Nursing; valid New Jersey RN license required, Advanced Practice certification preferred 2.Experience in clinical placement preferred 3.Relevant clinical nursing experience preferred 4.Administrative experience preferred. 5.Excellent oral and written communications skills. 6.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with faculty, students and other staff. 7.Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets and other applications. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) preferred. 8.Valid driver’s license, accessibility to a car, and the ability to travel in New Jersey and out of state locations of online clinical programs. 9.Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
