Henderson Community College serves approximately 1,500 credit, dual credit, adult education and workforce development students each semester in the Northwest Kentucky Region. Henderson is one of 16 colleges in the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS). The college and its faculty and staff are focused on student and community development and success. HCC is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
Faculty assignments include teaching, clinical instruction, advising students, professional growth and development, community service and continuing education, and institutional service.
Plans instructional activities, prepares learning materials, and delivers content.
Maintains records and reports on student attainment, attendance/activity and progress.
Utilizes approved online course templates and syllabus format, maintains classroom order and discipline.
Required to be a Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician
Must have 3 years+ experience in a clinical lab setting
Required to have MLS/MT/MLT Certification
College teaching experience preferred but not required
Has knowledge of education methods and administration
