In addition to the above requirements, candidates with secondary school experience in English or experience working with projects such as the National Writing Project are preferred.
Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:
The chosen candidate will teach three courses per semester. Courses will include composition courses at all levels, as well as pedagogy and methods courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. The candidate will provide service to the department by preparing students for the state certification exam for secondary English teachers, working with the College of Education certification staff.

For ABD applicants: A letter from your dissertation director confirming that the PhD will be conferred by August 17, 2020.
