Rider University seeks an individual for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor in the Counseling Services Program in the Department of Graduate Education, Leadership, and Counseling to begin on September 1, 2020.
The Rider University community is composed of faculty, staff, and students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. The student body is composed of approximately 4100 undergraduate students and 950 graduate students; these students come to Rider University from 82 countries, 43 states, and 2 U.S. territories. The successful candidate will be responsible for 18 teaching hours (six class sections) per academic year. In addition to teaching, the candidate will be involved in program development and assessment, including preparation for CACREP reaccreditation and advising and supervising graduate students in the counseling services program and serving on Department, College, and University committees. The candidate will be expected to carry out a research agenda and disseminate results in scholarly publications and at professional conferences.
