Endowed Chairs in Pediatrics UCSF School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics Clinical X or In Residence Series; Associate Professor or Professor
The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) is recruiting faculty candidates for its endowed chairs program in pediatric research. These positions will support pediatricians who are investigators in basic, translational, or clinical research. Successful candidates will have an accomplished track record of outstanding research accomplishments and extramural funding. In addition to an endowed chair, the program provides a generous start-up package and resources. Appointments will be made at the Associate or Professor rank in the Clinical X or In Residence series.
Requirements: • MD or MD/PhD • Board certified or board eligible in pediatrics and/or a pediatric subspecialty • Proven track record in research and peer-reviewed external funding at the R01 or equivalent level • Proven ability to work collaboratively • Commitment to diversity in the workplace
Desirable qualifications: • Strength in teaching • Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
