The School of Packaging is seeking applications from outstanding candidates for a fixed-term research associate (Postdoctoral Researcher) position in the lab of Dr. Muhammad Rabnawaz. Candidates will be conducing research in area of designed synthesis of polymers from renewable as well as non renewable feed stocks.
Starting salary is $47,500 and begins on January 2, 2019.
The candidate will have completed a PhD in Chemistry (organic and/or inorganic synthesis), Polymer/Materials (synthesis), Chemical Engineering or a related field by the position start date.
Strong competitive candidates will have an excellent track record of accomplishments along with a high level of productivity in areas relevant to polymer synthesis. Candidates with experience with ATRP, NMP, Free radical polymerization, catalytic polymerization and condensation polymerization will be given preference.
