Help develop and launch a new distinguished speaker series and conceive of, plan and help promote several high-profile events each year
Work collaboratively with a broad number of constituents within the Law School – including HLS leadership, faculty, staff, and students – to identify potential topics and speakers, build awareness of the Rappaport Forum, and drive event participation
Oversee Rappaport Forum event logistics, manage outreach to guest speakers, develop discussion framework and questions, and prepare associated briefing materials
Working closely with colleagues in the Office of Communications, write news articles to showcase the Forum and other related content
Support initiatives that foster energetic and open intellectual discourse
Serve as an advisor to the student-run HLS Forum
Perform other duties as assigned
This is a term appointment currently expected to extend 2 years from date of hire, with the potential for renewal.

Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in event planning and production, communications and marketing, or related field.
Interest in and capacity for understanding the most pressing law and law-related issues of the day
Superior written and verbal communications skills
Ability to think strategically and creatively, listen carefully, and influence and persuade others
Sound judgment and an extremely high level of professionalism, diplomacy, discretion, collegiality, and problem solving ability
Strong interpersonal skills and proven success in developing collaborative relationships across
Experience with podcast production and digital content strategy are a plus
J.D. or a master's degree is a plus
