The main purpose of this position is to develop and evaluate innovative methods of implementation; develop, provide and evaluate training and consultation/technical assistance that help mental health and rehabilitation organizations/associations/systems to incorporate established and emerging interventions/techniques that further the field of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery.
The Associate Director of Mental Health/Rehabilitation Training and Implementation should have a doctoral degree in psychology, psychiatric rehabilitation, occupational therapy, social work or related field. Three to Five years of field experience is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in training supervisors, administrators, and other stakeholders as well as organizational development/management and/or consultation to mental health and rehabilitation organizations, delivering psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery. Knowledge of the employment domain is desirable. Knowledge/experience in curriculum development, instructional design, development of online training and other implementation tools is desirable. Writing and assisting in writing new project proposals and progress/final reports. Writing and assisting in developing/writing grant or foundation proposals.
