The Parking Services Officer I, under direct supervision, enforces vehicular parking regulations for all University campus parking. Assist with Parking Management to issue parking citations. Work special events, low-level security, cashier as needed, and all other duties assigned.
Issue citations, patrol campus to insure fire lanes and loading docks are clear, offer assistance to faculty, staff, students, and visitors to campus when needed. Keep legible records and maintain detail daily reports. Provide low-level security.
Assist during special events: place traffic control devices, preform traffic directional duties, and work as in lane cashier as needed. Perform physical duties such as grasping, holding, lifting, reaching, standing for extended period of time.
Provide information to employees, students, and visitors regarding campus parking regulations and provide directional assistance. Operate and service security gate equipment. Knowledge with database, selling, issuing of parking permits, collecting funds, depositing parking fees, answering incoming telephone calls, and greeting visitors.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma
Two years of full-time work experience

Registrations, Certifications, and Licenses:
Must be able to obtain State of Texas class C vehicle operator's license within 30 days of employment. Inability to obtain State of Texas class C vehicle operator's license may result in termination.
