Position handles all aspects of purchasing. Maintains vendor files, works daily with a variety of customers both inside and outside of the department. Stocking and maintaining stock in supply area.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Orders supplies and equipment, ensuring that vendor, shipping address and accounting codes are correct.
Maintains files and resolves over 45 day outstanding requests.
Handles maintenance contracts and renewals reviewing and updating as needed in coordination with appropriate personnel and processes payment of services and goods received in areas of responsibility by appropriate documentation or process.
Maintains files, varied accounting reports and purchasing documentation.
Performs receiving functions for supplies or equipment not on purchase orders and monitors incorrect orders and damaged goods from vendors, returning for merchandise credit or replacement merchandise.
Assists with/handles special projects, annual budget and operating statements.
Equivalent of High school diploma, with some college accounting course work, and 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
1-3 years of bookkeeping/accounting, Customer service skills should include experience working with a variety of customers and vendors.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Service Now, AIS and Work Day/MyDay helpful.
Candidates must be willing to work in a non-standard office environment.
The hiring range for this position is $16.31 - $20.39 per hour.
